Hi there, My Name is Tracey, I'm a childminder on the Wirral. I'm new to Tapestry and just getting my head around it but loving the ease at which I can now do the learning journal observations. or I was until android decided to send me a mobile phone update. The latest update is called PIE and android will be sending it out automatically to all uses (like it or not) unfortunately the Tapestry app is not compatible with the new update, as you will all discover when you all get your upgrade. Can anyone tell me when Tapestry will be updating there systems to accommodate to new version? I was told by android that all app providers were informed of the new update over three mo…

Hi. We are still quite new to Tapestry and we are struggling with tracking the progress. I have found a page in the control panel where you can enter your own 'satisfactory' and 'good' progress but wondered how other people do it. Hope that makes sense. Also if we assess each observation does that affect the summative assessment? Thanks

Hi everyone, I have just been advised by one of my childminder friends that apparently if you are a childminder you can get a contribution of £20.00 towards your Tapestry yearly subscription fee, does anyone else know about this, if so who or where to you claim it from please. Thanks in advance Joanne

HI there, I am reviewing my settings summative assessments and have found that a lot of staff in my 2-3 unit tend to assess children as achieving higher in the EYFS then they necessarily are. When looking at the observations that have led to these assessments sometimes there may only be one observation that has led tapestry to make this judgement - my question is this: How does tapestry decide when to move a child from one age bracket to the next? Does it depend on the amount of observations done in that area of learning/age bracket? It would be really useful to know this if anyone can help. Thanks

Hi Is it possible to set up a parent's account if they are already registered with their child at another setting using the same email? Thanks

Are you able to block parents from seeing comments made by staff. I am looking through some observations and would like to be able to give staff some pointers or suggest things but don't really want the parents to see that. Thank you in advance

Ok so what I have done wrong? the information on the summative assessment log is not transferring in to the reports info. In the reports function it is telling me that children are 30-50 e psed/mr for example when on the summative assessment it says they are 30-50 secure. (I know I can manually override statements but this is just for 'normal' use)
