HI, I wonder if someone can explain why this is happening. I'm looking at the latest assessments for a group of children and am wondering how a child who is 39 months is then showing as being at actual age when it's 40-60, yet above actual age when it's 30-50 months. Surely the highlighting should be the other way around!! And then in another area 30-50 is below actual age......?? Thanks Kathryn

Hi, We have just started using Tapestry and have would like to be able to tick statements within more than one age band for a single observation, i.e. some within 30-50 months and some within 40-60+. We can't seem to find how to do this. As we are currently baselining the children, we don't know what the best fit is yet and need to show all the statements that fit the child's development. Hoping someone can help!

As a complete beginner I’m using Tapestry in a Nursery setting. I have started taking photos and adding observations. Wondering if I’m taking too many photos as I’m spending ages adding observations at home in the evening! Should I also be making an assessment each time?

We have become aware of an issue with the care diary from a lot of parents commenting they can't see parts of the care diary. We have now noticed that for each entry for each child we have to permit relative access and then notify. As you can imagine doing this for every entry is very time consuming!! Is there anyway that are can permit relative access for the whole day instead of doing it for each entry. If not we are seriously considering not using the care diary due to the time this takes. thank you

We have a child that has started at our setting this week, who has sibling at school. Both us and the school use Tapestry. I was wondering if there is a way to link these accounts, as it will not allow us to use the same email. Thanks in advance

Hi all, some help required. Although we have used Tapestry for a number of years this is the first year we are allow parents online access to observations. My questions are: Can I choose which observation I want parents to access (I thought I had seen this previously, but can not find it now) and also I set up a test email and child so I could try it out and none of the obs have come through to the email address, any idea why? any suggestions greatfully received

How do I log a new child's starting points that mum has given me. I will check the child can do them first. I hope there is a simple way or will I have to enter them all in individually?

Hi All, Just a quick query over baselines, we have been using tapestry for a year now and love it. Many of our children start with us when they are 2 and we do baseline assessments in the prime areas but obviously we do cross into specific areas throughout the term. Many of these children are staying with us and moving into the pre-school room this September. What do other settings do when children transition into the next age group (which is ongoing in our setting all year) I am reluctant to re-do baselines if I lose their original baselines as many have sen and I want to be able to show the progress made since they started. What do other settings do in this situa…
