Hi, Our setting has just started to use Tapestry to record observations of children. However we are struggling to work out how you can collect information on how all the children are developing in order to identify gaps which you can support in the setting. We can't seem to find any tutorials on this and would like to know how other setting use the information. Thank you

Hi All, We have been using tapestry for a term now and everyone loves it and it has gone really well. We are now moving into our busiest term and I can see that I need to look at our observation and planning process. I think the staff are doing too many observations to be honest and whilst I have never wanted to put a "number" on the amount of obs they do I think we are going to have to. Up until now we have done our own next steps for each short ob but this is unmanageable now and I think we need to look at the obs collectively each week for each child and set an appropriate next step. Then plan, do and review. I see little of having all these wonderful next steps …

Hi is it possible to turn on / off the visibility of the EYFS ages and stages assessments for parents? If so how do I do this? I just don't want to provoke the wrong type of 'competitive chat' amongst parents. Thanks. Andy.

Hi, We have been using Tapestry for a while now but are still struggling to get our heads around the assessment side of things. I think we are probably missing something but is there a way of seeing clearly what age band children are currently working within based on their observations over an extended period of time i.e. more than one term as shown on the summative assessments section? Like i said it is probably really obvious but any help would be appreciated Thank you

Hi, Can anyone help me with suggestions on how to 'rota' the hudles We are all grown ups however I feel that some staff are always on the huddle and are not spending time with the children and engaging with them in session. How do other setting manage this? Thank you

Hi, newbie here... I am manager of a setting and we have just started using Tapestry..so far so good, we all love it! My question is: I have 3 rooms, each with a supervisor who I have given full access to. However, they can now see all the children in the setting. Is there a way I can set it so that supervisors can only see the staff in their room and their children. Thanks in advance for any help offered

Hi , I am very new to this online forum,and have just been on a trial version of Tapestry. Does anyone know if you can let two parents access their child's learning journal but with out them actually seeing each others comments or do I need to set up two learning journals for the same child?

We have recently discovered an issue with the PDF exports of the Age Band Tracker screen which meant that sometimes not all of the data that appeared on the screen was included on the PDF export. We do apologise if this has, or does, cause you any inconvenience. A fix for this has been released so now when you export this page, all of the data will be included. If you have previously exported this page and saved a copy of the PDF, we do suggest that you export this page again to ensure all of the correct information is included. hi how long is the window for parents to activate their link? is it possible to change the length of time it is available? some parents are not doing it in time and it is time consuming to resend the link.
