I'm wondering if anyone knows when the care diary will be accessible through the app. it takes a while to update all the children's information at each point of the day and it would be great to have it on the app.

Hi there, We use the app daily to add observations to Tapestry but the care log does not seem to appear on the app which would be very useful for us, is this something that can be done? Kind regards Ami Fledglings Day Nursery

Hi all, we need to update the handheld devices our staff use for taking pics and recording observation on tapestry. Can i ask what settings us please? What are the pros and cons. We currently have ipods which are at the end of their life so want something that is compatible with Tapestry. Thank you.

The P Scales assessment framework is being removed from Tapestry. This is because the Government has replaced P Scales with The Engagement Model and The Pre-Key Stage Standards. You can add The Engagement Model to Tapestry using Flags (see our tutorial on adding bespoke flag sets) and we have a separate assessment framework for The Pre-Key Stage Standards (you can turn that on from the ‘Assessments’ section of your control panel). We will soon be making some changes to the Cherry Garden framework. The first is to rename the ‘Creative Development’ Branch Map to ‘Expressive Arts and Design’. You don’t need to do anything for this, the name will update automatically in the next few weeks (late February 2022). The content of the Branch Map will stay the same. The second change does include something you do need to think about and possibly do. Hello there, We are currently using Tapestry very successfully in our Primary. I've been set a little bit of a permissions challenge, so I thought I'd reach out here. Staff want to make it possible for parents to submit their own assessments, but not yet see any assessments posted by school staff. I seem to have tweaked a test relative account to do this but is there any best practice for this? At the moment they're marking everything as staff view only but they have to do this manually each time. Is there any feature that allows you to set this by default?

Is anyone else having issues with tapestry? We used to be able to cut and paste on an observation but the app won't now let us do this....also i'm having issues with the flags, if i put on an area flag it won't let me add some of the other flags. So for example i added an ob about PSE and then i tried to add an EAD one and it wouldn't let me add the area title. I'm struggling a bit with this new app. Beginning to wonder if i need to update the hardware but even on my phone it's not working perfectly.

I may have missed this in watching all the tutorials... but when looking at the birth to three areas on Tapestry it only come up with the prime areas. How can we get the specifics to show up on the flags or will they not come up and practitioners are advised to use the Early years statements for this?

Hi there Weavers, I need to know how I could use Tapestry to create some kind of thread for myself and a parent to add to, separate from the child's journal, where we can record or clarify incidents at school and at home. Is this possible? I've thought about making an observation and just not adding it to journal, but then the parent wouldn't be able to see or access it to add comments! I've thought about Reflections but that's only staff, not parents (I use reflections for my 'not on track' comments and dont want parents to see) Any other ideas please?! Thanks in advance :)

We have begun trialing the new flag system on Tapestry in preparation for September. Will flags be visible on app for other staff in September at the moment they are only visible through a browser? Flags are changing for everyone, depending on staff selections, is this due to us having multiple managers?
