Hi, When exporting the leanring journals at the end of the year or when a child leaves why does this not include a copy of their reports and snapshots? If I can do this please tell me how otherwise writing a half termly report on the child seems pointless if it's not including in the exported PDF to give to the parent and surely the entire add report option is pointless also. Thanks

We currently have our Nursery and Reception class on Tapestry and have set up cohort groups. On the browser version we filter the children so that we only see our own class but I wondered if there is a similar option for the iPad app version or if it is just a case of scrolling through as we have been doing. Thanks!

Hello! One of the exciting new developments going on at Tapestry headquarters at the moment is the creation of a new way of assessing and tracking KS1 and KS2 children. This will enable you to set your own terminology for attainment levels, to assess whole groups of children at once from within the snapshots screen (so without having to make observations), to measure and monitor even the smallest points of progress, and to see how current attainment compares to your expected attainment and starting points (such as EYFSP scores). Much of this has already been created but in the next few weeks we would really like some KS1 and KS2 teachers to start getting involved with …

I am experiencing strange behaviour from Tapestry this afternoon on the browser. I have tried to send a support ticket from Tapestry but the displayed form is not displaying the required field 'Message', which of course means I can't submit the ticket -- grr. Using IE v.11.953.xxx Currently unable to add observations to journals or to add a reply to parent's observation (actually, although T appeared not to add the reply, it has in fact added it several times reflecting my number of attempts) Hope you can help. Hello, I'm new to this site and new to tapestry and have lots of questions! But first, ive just started at a new school who use tapestry and wondered if there was a way I could keep track of how many observations have been made on each child. I want to be able to see a chart or something similar for each individual child every half term which tells me clearly how many obs they have for each area of learning so I can see where we need more evidence. ok so for the first time we have produced our reports on the system. I have tried to go paperless but am still having a few people insisting on printing!! (will have to charge them next time!) Anyway what i wanted to know is ...do i get a notification if parents add a cooment on the bottom of the report. Im assuming that i then lock them? I also assume that they can't get access to anyone elses...the event log seems to be showing up other peoples names on some parents access info

Hi Weavers, One of the changes we have recently made to Tapestry affects how the 'view only key children' setting works. Previously, managers would decide whether staff members could see all children, only their key children, or be able to make the decision for themselves. This was however, a bulk setting, so it wasn't possible to have one option for one staff member and another for a different staff member. After feedback from a number of you saying that you would like it to be more flexible, we have added a range of 'user permissions'. You can find those in the control panel.
