Hi This may seem like a silly question, however I am still going ask and hopefully I will get a response In terms of Tapestry how many observations do your EYP'S do each week on each key child. do they do a mixture of snapshots etc. Thank you Sharon

Hi all, Wondering if someone can help me, we have migrated to the New tapestry and it is fab - however previously it was only manager who could add observations to journals as I had it set at after manager approval. on the new update I have set it as above, however staff are now able to and have been adding observations to journal by changing the ruling in the drop down box on the observation page. Is there anything I can do about this as I like to moderate the observations before hand, it is important to staff development. Thanks

Hi I would like to print out the snapshot data for the end of autumn term for staff to see. I wondered if anyone could help or offer advice on reading the data. If a child's age range is 48-52 months and in some statements the child is 30-50 D should his not come up as below? As the child will now be 52 months? I would have thought if he was 30-50 Secure he would be Ok as he would be moving into 40-60 E Is there a way to get all children on one page of the snapshot sheet? I downloaded the PDF to landscape but because of the big margin at the top I have some children on a second page. Any other data tips would be fantastic. Thank you in advance :rolleyes…

Hi Everyone I am hoping to get some advice... My setting has been using Tapestry for a couple of months- its fantastic! I gave our permission forms to all our parents asking for their consent for their child to have an online learning journey. Everyone brought their form back bar 1 parent. When I asked if she had received the letter, she expressed concerns with photos, information being online. I assured her that its a secure system however she is still very hesitant to sign the letter. My next point of call is to suggest that we don't put photos/ videos on and to use a made up name for the child. Then we can still have the observations and assessments for t…

Hi If a child leaves our setting and the new setting doesn't do either on-line learning journeys at all or they use a different type of on-line learning journey that is not tapestry, how do we transfer their learning journey to them? Thank you Alison

Hi, First time of transfering documents - 2 questions - 1. If I transfer the document to the school does the file disappear completely or will it need to be deleted from our system? 2. Another setting will have shared care of one of our children, the other setting is also on tapestry and have requested that we transfer the learning journey so far to them - again, will the file disappear from our system or will it remain so that we can continue to add to the learning journey next term? Hi, Can anyone direct me to the video that was linked to on the migration page for the Tapestry update. The video featured a lady giving a guided tour of the new look Tapestry website. We have just migrated to the new one but I wanted to show the video to staff during staff meeting to show them what was new. Could anyone send me the link or direct me to the video please? Hi,I am relatively new to Tapestry and some parents are having trouble accessing their childrens obs etc. They have received the overview I sent,I also thought I sent an e-mail activation .They are asking what e-mail and password to use? Hope it makes sense. Just want to get started.
