Hello, I don't know if any of you have read the latest newsletter? There is some information about a linked blog and website called Learning Through Play by Maslaha. I got a few minutes into their first video and was shocked at the activities that were being advised. The first was an alphabet hunt, ok fine, for reception aged children this might be fun. The second was paint a panda . Why a panda? I have no idea, it was not related to anything. We are in the process of carrying out maintenance work on the Tapestry databases. The affected Tapestry accounts will be made temporarily inaccessible while we carry that out. The work should only take about 5 minutes, but during that time you will not be able to login, view, create, or edit any posts. If this affects you, a yellow banner will appear at the top of the page on the browser version of your Tapestry, telling you exactly when it will happen. You will also be able to see a message above the PIN screen on the app with the same information. It is important that you finish any work you’re doing before the time displayed in the yellow banner, to avoid it …

Hi Weavers, We recently published an update to the Android/Fire app which includes lots of background changes to help how the app run more smoothly as well as some new features! In this post we're going to cover what these new features are as well as some other frequently asked questions about the Android app. What are the new features available on this update? Memos and Planned Activities are now visible - If you have permission to, you can comment on and like these. You can also respond to planned activities with an observation. Hello Can you please help with an issue we have had with the summative assessments. We have done our end of term tracking for period 3. We do this by adding an observation that puts an age bracket and refinement for each area of learning. This comes from our observations throughout the period and our own practitioner knowledge. We have now gone to print the summative assessments and most if not all are wrong either putting the children up or down one step. How has this changed? How can we prevent this and it to read the right information? Previously we were told when making general observations not to add the refinement as the computer can do it itself from the info…

when staff are logging into tapestry we sign in via the primary email and main password which takes them to the managers main account. Staff then choose their own account from the drop down menu and log in via their pin, but some staff are not using their own accounts and using the managers account to record information. Is there anyway that staff can sign in to their individual accounts without having to sign into the managers main account first?

We have started to use the Care diary part of Tapestry and love it - is there a way we can add a medication form to the care diary's or memos so parents can fill them out when we are required to give medication and then staff can fill out once has been given?(similar to the accident forms) hope you can help thank you sally
