We have just had a child who has signed up to come to our setting but will still also be attending her current setting who use Tapestry. Is there a way that we can both upload observations for that child? I know we can transfer children but haven't come across this before

Help My parents aren't receiving notifications of observations being added. The box is still checked in the setting page. Is this a feature of the new tapestry layout?????

I'd like to know if a parent has commented on observations without going through the whole list of observations for each individual child. am i missing some glaringly obvious way???

Why is it not possible to delete parents from our tapestry now the children have moved to KS1? At the moment we have the current 90 parents assigned in reception plus 90 from last year sitting in the background (with no child or obs now attached as these have been removed). This number will increase next year with the new cohort and so on. We deactivate our parents whilst we upload the new set of observations so are now reactivating 180 parents each time when only 90 of them have children in the foundation stage or anything to see. I find this very bizarre. Any ideas or if this is going to be sorted or ways around this? Thanks in advance

Hi, Within tapestry there is the option to assess children against the leuven scale, and so measuring their levels of involvement and well-being. I was wondering if there was an option to look at the overall settings assessments in these areas, like the summative assessments for the EYFS. Or if there are any plans to introduce a tool for viewing these assessments in the future. Many thanks Sarah

We have noticed that a child who started with us this September, and who has just 1 observation in the maths area (both N and SSM) assessed at 30-50 months no refinement; has been assessed by Tapestry as secure 30-50 even though only 2 statements selected in numbers and 3 in shape space and measure. Surely that can't be right. I haven't checked other children yet, but it does lead to doubt about Tapestry's use of the data calculation. We updated to the new version of Tapestry. Any ideas what's happening?

Please could you tell me what happens once i have added a parents details. Do i need to chose 'make active' before they get an email to set up their password? We want parents to receive the access email on a set date once all parents have been added.

We are currently doubling up on the amount we write but I think, if on Tapestry, the window that shows all the obs done in chronological order could show the whole ob and not just part of it, then we would be able to screen shot the pages and job done. So ... Is anyone else in this position and found a practical solution please? Does anyone know if the observations page enables each box to stretch? ie) the whole observation is visible rather than just part, please? Sorry, if this ends up in the wrong section, it's my first post!

Hi, we are fairly new to a Tapestry and even though I'm getting confident with using all the great features, I only just found out that as a manager I don't get notifications when observations of other than my key children are commented on by parents. Surely there must be a way how to enable this as I find comments by parents very helpful. I checked staff accounts and they seem to be getting notifications of comments made for all not just key children. Can anyone help please? Thank you!

Help please, I have printed off the next steps for a child in their second year with us, Under Physical Development - Moving and Handling we have made four different observations that this child can "Jump off and land safely"40-60 mths Secure since March 2015, but that statement still shows on next steps as a desired progression
