Helloooooo, I have seen that the previous manager created the dates for term 1 as 1st september to 15th October. I think this was done to use as baseline but I have found the baseline facility and changed this as necessary. So now I would like to change the october date. I am worried to try as I am faced with this warning: Note that changing the assessment periods invalidates the existing manually overriden summative assessments. Once the new settings have been saved this data cannot be retrieved. To avoid loss of data, click the reset button below before saving the settings. I've copied this from a previous thread from 2014: 'You can block out all of a picture when uploading a multiple child observation, or none, but there's no option to individually pixellate faces. However, within the next three weeks or so (either just before or just after half-term) we'll be adding new functionality that will enable you to blur the faces of individual children, and to track those whose parents don't want them to appear in other child's journals.' Is this now possible and if so, how? We have a parent who will not allow their child to feature in other photos so I just want to blur their face out of some group ones? Hi All We are new to Tapestry but currently have parents either not wanting children on Tapestry or parents not wanting group photos to be shown, which currently they are not but is there a way to pixelate faces of individuals yet? I read a post from 2014 which said Tapestry would be looking at this for the future.

Hi We had a team meeting today about ages & stages of development. One of the points for discussion was that sometimes you can see a child is emerging into lets say 30-50 months from an observation, so you record the observation on tapestry so it then puts the child into that age band of learning but they may of not yet been secure in the age band below so this qives a false indication of the child's age & stage. Is there a way we can recognise the child achievements in curtain aspects of their learning without giving a false indication of the age & stage on Tapestry?

Hello I hope someone can help. Could someone please tell me how I can change the setting on the children page to show all the obs that they've had for the term? At the moment it only has the number from a certain period and I'm not sure what that criteria is. Is it a period of two weeks? If so I have 30 key children in my class and I may not add obs for all of them in that period but I would like to see how many they've had in the term and compare with others on the children's page without going into their learning journal each time. Thank you

is it correct that if i don't attach a refinement such as emerging, developing and secure to the observations that tapestry will automatically move the children along according to the settings we have entered into thoroughness section. could someone please tell me if i have got this right? thanks

Hi, My setting is very new tapestry. We have officially started this week, after weeks of setting up and purchasing tablets etc., we are finally ready to start. However....As staff are uploading photos and observations, i am receiving no notifications. I have set it to upload after manager’s approval, but how exactly do i approve. I am receiving nothing. Unless i specifically log into a member of staffs account, I can see what they have published, however it clearly states 'not in journal' as i have not approved it. But how do I do that? My thinking was on the manager/admin account I would receive a series of notifications that a member of staff has uploaded s…
