thinking about using tapestry in our preschool and was just thinking how many observations per day, per child do people usually get using the system as we are writing observations and tend to do a lot per child per day and we are hoping that tapestry cuts the work load down.

Our setting has noticed that after observing a child and when trying to assess their age and stage, that you cannot tick different age bands. If you find a stepping stone in one age band and tick that, then find something else that's relevant in another age band and tick that the previously ticked age band will disappear. Is there any way that we can tick all relevant stepping stones within all the age bands?

Hi Have used Tapestry to input my Baselines for my new cohort. Is there a way to include this in the analysis section so that it is the starting point for tracking? Also the analysis section doesn't give the option of looking just at baseline scores. is there a way of doing this?

Can someone please tell me if you can select statements for an observation on the app from more than one age band. As soon as I click another age band the selected statement from the other age band disappears?

Hello all! This is my first post of here so if I've missed anything, then please do let me know. We have been using for Tapestry for a little while and love it. I'm just getting stuck into the analysis side of things and was wondering how everyone has their analysis set up for the 'Qualitative Ranges'. For the 'Thoroughness' we have it set as follows: Trailing 0 - 0.99 Satisfactory 1 - 1.99 Good 2 - and upwards So, as a minimum we expect each child to have at least one observation in each area, each term. But I am unsure how I should set up the other two (Progress & Attainment) Many thanks Rob

Hi there, I am really sorry if this is a repeat post, I had a little look and couldn't find the answer I am looking for. I am a new user to tapestry this year and so far loving it! I am just finishing off some of my summative assessments for this term, last minute I know, and I have noticed for the few that I have manually put in that there is a small pen on the overview and a small asterisk on the PDF download for it? Is there a way of removing these?

Hi, I have been busy using tapestry for obs on individuals and groups of children and publishing these for parents to access. I was wondering if there is a way of just writing quick notes on individuals to add to the journal for assessment,without having to publish. Also can I assess without written notes or photos? Thank you
