After using Tapestry for over 12 months I have only just found out that parents are not getting email notifications when an ob is uploaded. I have checked out settings and they are fine, I have attached the tutorial for them to follow however still they are not getting them. Any ideas to solve this anyone. thanks

I am trying to transfer a child to another setting and have followed the usual process. Unfortunately the new setting are on the new version and we are still on old version and it won't let us transfer! Anyone know if I need to do something different or a way round this? the other setting are obviously keen to get started with him but don't want to lose all the information we have, if they started a new account for him could the two be merged if we manage to transfer it later? thanks

I have a parent with two tapestry accounts - one for a child in year 1 and one is reception. The reception account was transferred over from his pre school. Mum can access it through the browser but is unable to use the app. she says it is linked to his pre school setting? Any ideas?

I have just taken a look at my children and the thoroughness of observations for the Autumn1 period. At the bottom of the screen there is an option to take a look at a chart depicting this information but I cannot work out what it is actually telling me as there is no key and every time I think I have come up with the answer, when working it back with the tabulated data, find it doesn't seem to make sense. It is made up of shaded circles of varying darkness covering numbers of observations up the side and the aspect of learning across the bottom. Can anyone explain what this chart means? Many thanks.

As a setting we use next steps/suggested observations to move our children on against the EYFS. Currently we do not make this option avail for parents to see, we are looking to feedback to our parents by using the report option to show them how we ae looking to their child on so we can select specific areas. What do other settings use ?

We are trying to use a kindle fire when using tapestry but are unable to upload videos. They are always too big even if under 3 minutes long. We have previously used ipads and iPods but wanted a cheaper option so that all staff can have their own device. Has anyone used kindle fires or can anyone recommend another device?

Hi all, we started using Tapestry in September and absolutely love it. All staff are now confident users and we feel we are ready to go live with the parents. Has anyone got a template letter that they used to inform the parents of their change from paper to electronic learning journal?

Hi, Here you go an easy question for the weekend..... We have a child whom I set up an account for at the same time as the rest of the cohort, however, he only appears on some iPad's, his name and therefore journal does not appear when we access Tapestry via the website and not on all our linked ipads either??? T
