Is there a way to disable comments on an observation at all? Or approve comments first? We have been sending out group observations regarding Covid and some parents have begun to use it almost like a Facebook post and I am not keen on their comments being viewed by all to see. Thank you

This post is for those of you accessing Tapestry via an Android mobile/tablet running Android 4.4.4 or below (this is the operating system for the device), or on a computer using a really old version of Windows/OS X and using the ‘classic app’ or an old internet browser. For those of you accessing Tapestry via the browser, this might be you if you’re using a very old computer or mobile/tablet and you don’t think the browser you use to access the internet has been updated in a long time. Hi, We are new to using the parent app although we’ve been using Tapestry for a while. I have set up all the parents and told staff the observations we want parents to see are set as immediately anything else is immediately for staff. We have gone live with it this week and when the parents accounts have been activated all observations including those from last year set as immediately have been sent. Is there a way this can be rectified and only a specific observation sent instead of parents having access to everything? Thanks in advance Alison

Hi all, We are just starting to roll out the care diary and love how it is taking us online and keeping the parents informed. I know accidents can be recorded but has anyone managed to use Tapestry for existing injury/medication/incidents forms on there? Are there are any work arounds or are there any plans to work these into the care diary? Thanks in advance Rob

I'm sure ive read this somewhere but can't find it! We have had to forgo our staff meetings at the moment and i would like to do a round robin type message to the staff each week. Is there a way i can do this on tapestry ? (obviously not for parents to access!)

Hi, I am new to Tapestry and have been trying to use the summative assessment feature. When I click on tracking --> summative assessment --> group view none of my observations are showing. I have checked and all my observations are within the children's journals. Is there something I need to activate to enable the summative assessment feature? Thank you in advance Olivia

hello, please help! Can you please give me advice on baselines and ongoing assessments please. We are also using Tapestry for the first time too. On entry to Reception should pupils be secure in 30-50 and working within 40-60?? Is there an age they need to achieve each half term in order to help them reach expected by Summer term. Or should I be looking more at each pupils age realated expecations? I'm a little confused. Also, How do you manage weekly observations after baseline? Do you focus on an area of learning? Pupils? I was going to use the Twinkl baseline assessments/ take photos of pupils/write observations and upload to Tapestry. …
