Our setting has just started using Tapestry and the staff wondered how they would be able to view a child's obs in full, rather then scrolling through all the children to get a picture of where they are at and what their next steps are, what obs they are missing and so and so forth.. They use I-Pads Hope you can help me as I really quitelike Tapestry and want my staff to like it and find it easy Thanks

Hi, I've just re-activated a deleted child (at the request of a parent from the cohort that has just left) with 9 days to go before deletion. Does anyone know why there are no observations in his file after re-activation? Hoping for a solution. Thank you

I have a new child that started a couple of weeks ago. Grandma takes care of her while parents work. I have never met the parents. All paperwork was sent out and only the contact details/ registration form returned. I chased up the other paperwork... Which apparently was 'lost'. I gave Grandma all new forms and she returned them yesterday. The tapestry document included an explaination that all children have an on line journal as this is how we do it etc and gave lots of information regarding security, only they have the password etc. the second sheet is the permission form to add photo's, include theirs in other children's etc etc. Once they sign it, underneat…

We have a new child who also attends a child minder setting, he already has an account on tapestry with the childminder, I have set him up at our setting too but is it possible for both settings to share an account for the child so both have access to the obs etc?

My setting has just transferred to the new Tapestry from the old. All good so far. I cannot however seem to find the many useful printable information sheets I used previously. I am particularly looking for a Tapestry explanation sheet for parents which also allowed for a space to write in their given passwords. It would also be useful to be pointed in the right direction for a tutorial demonstrating Tapestry that I can share with parents at a workshop.

Hi. I am a childminder and I am currently looking after a child who also has another childminder. We both use Tapestry to record our children's observations. Is there a way in which can have one learning journal for this child but both be able to contribute to this?!

I am new to tapestry and have just tried to do the starting points for a new child but when I convert to PDF my refinements don't show? So I don't have any emerging, developing or secure statements showing on the PDF but they are there on the observations? Can anyone help please? PS - I have done some digging and have found the tick box to check to show refinements ) Yay!

Hi I have had several parents comment that they are having trouble logging into their account, are you having any technical difficulties at the moment? These are not new parents, their accounts had been set up some time ago and have had no difficulties until returning this term. Thanks Nic
