Hi. I work in a very large setting with almost 200 children on the registers. We have been using iPads and Samsung's for Tapestry but are looking at changing devices. Our head is looking at iPods. Any thoughts on pros and cons of these devices. Also would we need the newest version to support Tapestry?

Hi, sorry I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but can someone please remind me how to merge child accounts together? We had a child who came to us and another setting so has an account at both settings, their account from the other setting has now been transferred to us so I want to merge the 2 journals into 1 - I've done it before with another child but I can't seem to find how to do it again.......

Hi my name is Jules and I am a Childminder. I am new to Tapestry and still using the free trial. getting there slowly muddling my way through Tapestry help sections, think its going to be very beneficial. Do you have any advice or tips that might be beneficial to help me get used to using Tapestry, I worry that I am missing important criteria? Many thanks

I am really interested in using the Care Diary on Tapestry however my reception class would not necessarily need the toileting / sleeping etc. Is there an option to assign / remove certain categories to or from a class or individual child or do they all have to be there? I am just trying to weigh up whether using it will be advantageous to use for staff who are navigating managing parent expectations as we transition back from the pandemic 🤪 Thanks in advance ✌🏻

Hello, I wondered if someone could help - I'm new to Tapestry and would love to create a story video to share with my new class (Sept 2020). I've set them all up on Tapestry so ready to go! I can see the 'Record Video' feature on the Tapestry app (on ipad), can you access this feature via laptops or do I need to download the app to record directly? Thanks for your help!

Starting Points: Hi I'm relatively new to Tapestry and was wondering how I would input a new child's 'starting points' I've added a new observation 'Starting Points onto the child's journal but I'm unsure if I need to put 'secure' meaning that I have observed them doing the activity or 'no refinement' If someone out there could please help with this that would be great. So i have managed to add accident logs etc on tapestry but not sure if i'm getting this right? anyone already done this ? (trying not to have to 'handle' documents between ourselves and parents. Can you tell me how you handle this at work? I'm assuming parents have to be on the browser version to download?

Hi all Is it possible for the teachers to fill in age bands and refinements on an observation so it can be used for tracking and reports BUT when teh observation is sent for parents they do not see it. Basically, I do not want the parents to see the age bands and refinements, and I do want the staff to fill in these boxes for internal tracking and assessments. I hope that makes sense - is it possible?
