Hi We want to give our parents an information sheet about Tapestry and how it is used etc. Is there something that is already available? I don't want to give them too much to get their head around in the beginning but to explain what it is, how we will use it, especially the assessment data and then perhaps links to where they can find out more themselves. THanks so much Clare

...or has the font on the browser version shrunk? Everything seems very small to me, not just the font you type but all the tabs etc too :-/

Has anybody got a printout on a basic guide for using tapestry. We have new staff starting and although i will give them all a demonstration it would be helpful to give them a handout for reference. I found lots of tapestry guides but none are printer friendly.7 Thanks

Hi everyone, Our setting (Nursery and Pre-School) have just joined Tapestry from paper learning journeys. The staff are all very excited about using the app! I just wondered if there was a letter that anyone has done to parents explaining the switch to an online assessment tools, positives, how it works etc? I know I could write one myself but thought I would ask before reinventing the wheel. Thanks! Kate

Help please. I am sure it’s me being silly but when completing tracking today I noticed that when putting 30-50 in for a child it comes up green (at actual age) but then when I put 40-60 for the same child it comes up pink (below actual age). I don’t understand, have I got my bands and refinements set up incorrectly? Any advice would be most welcomed.

What can the learning journeys be downloaded onto by parents? I was asking for USBs so that I could download them for them but it now seems that this would be pointless as no one now seems to have a PC! I am now charging a printing fee and printing the journal out for them. Can the journals be downloaded onto a phone or a tablet?

One of my parents has tried downloading her journal onto an iPhone. She says she can see it then when she goes to change the page it all disappears. Any advice would be welcome.

Hi i hope someone can help or give some advice. We currently have an alternative assessment system that we use at my school, but still want to use tapestry to capture photos and observations. We have been up until a few months ago been adding the assessments to our observations, but were not using them partially during our data drop. Is there anyway that you can print off the observations and the photos but not include the assessments or COEL? We want to use it more as an electronic photo and observation capturing device. This Sep will also be the first year we are opening Tapestry to parents and again i would just like them to post the picture and write a comment. We als…

I'm having problems uploading photos taken on a Kindle Fire onto Tapestry, has anyone else had this problem? I am wondering if it is down to parental control settings and if so what controls need to be changed.
