We will be moving into a new school build school shortly and wondered if anyone had some good ideas for activities based around our new school. I have thought of lots of role play activities e.g. school secretary, builder etc but would love some suggestions.

On Friday I shall at last take delivery of my new Gopak folding tables and trolleys. Next problem - What to do with the old tables I have asked around locally with no success. I have 11 nursery height rectangular tables and 4 three sided ones. Some are in better condition than others. All perfectly servicable. It just seems a shame that they may end up at the tip Any suggestions Glen

I have been asked by my committee to have student who is half way through completing her CPP next term. As this will be the first time I have had a student in the setting I am not sure of the procedure. Should she have a CRB check - she has one for college, does she need a contract etc? Sue

Hi, does anyone have any ideas for a table top activity for the theme of growing? I was going to get some plastic flowers and put them in a pot so children can arrange, sequence and solve practical problems or laminate some and attatch them to something but I don't know whatI could stick them on. I didn't want to use any straw as children would trash it in two seconds. What could I attatch my flowers to? Inspiration needed please. Thanks in advance. Zainab x
