I'm making GBmen 2morrow and can't lay my hands on a good recipie (I've looked in forum's recipie section but none there). Any will do but I'd be particularly interested in a child friendly version like the one I've got for currant buns which uses the balance scales and flour/marg/sugar is weighed out to balance with eggs. (Got it out of child ed -I must post a copy of it some time) Thanks

My own children are priviledged to be at school, many of their friends are not. In time for the G8 summit in Scotland in July, the campaign is trying to make and send 1 million cut out models of 'buddies' to send to school. Ple…

Our EAZ has funded artists( a band and a dancer/mask maker) to visit school, at quite short notice. Does anyone have story suggestions for the week? (or any other suggestions on the theme, come to that?) Thanks.

The BBC do a scheme where volunteers will help out with garden projects. If you need help with making a garden for your setting and it will benefit the community, you can contact the local neighbourhood gardening team for your area. The teams are made up of volunteers who have a level 2 or above qualification in horticulture and have done a volunteering course. You or volunteers from your setting work alongside the neighbourhood team. You can find out more about the scheme on the BBC site here
