Wet Weather Clothes

We had a wear your own clothes day (to finish our topic on clothes) on friday and managed to raise £66. We plan on buying some clothes for when it rains and wondered if anyone had any suggestions/experiences they could share. As we have 77 chn in our FSU we don't want to buy enough for everyone as we can't afford it and would have no where to store the clothes so thought we'd just buy a set of 6 so we could just take smaller groups out at a time in the wet weather. What I'm not sure about is what size wellies to get-think the average size in my reception class is about 8-does this sound about right? Are there any rules when it comes to buying wellies? eg get them a si…

This is driving me crazy. I know they exist because I've seen them. But I can't find a place to buy corner protectors for walls. You know the thing I mean - they form a long protective strip down the 90 degree angle of a wall, made of rubber, plastic or something like that - they help prevent injury to children who try to headbutt the corner when falling over etc. Please can someone help?

One of our mom's has just had a new baby The thing is, she's keeping her 3 year old son away as much as possible because he's got a cold and she doesnt want the baby to get it. Am I right in thinking the baby will have a natural immunity to bugs for at least the first few weeks? We've also got 2 cases of chilcken pox and I know she's worried about her son catching it now. Any words of wisdom I can pass on to her? Thanks

Just a thought! Don't know if you have seen issue one of a puzzler magazine (now on sale) It's the usual introductory offer price of £1;99 for the first issue and probably nine million to come at an increased price. This one is wooden puzzles of various sorts and issue one has a lovely wooden 'Tower of Hanoi' For those of you who are not familar with it - it is a wooden base with three vertical poles and a 'tower' of eight rings of different sizes. I am not suggesting pre schoolers could use the puzzle as its intended but it is well made in light and dark, solid, varnished wood. Suddenly thought they would have fun just moving the circles from pole to pole, gr…

Steve, Is it possible to attach publisher documents, I use this programme for lots of my work, policies, planning etc. If I can attach these I have lots of stuff to share. Peggy I find publisher easier to work with if I am adding pictures with text, I always find it difficult in word docs to arraNGE TEXT AND PICS TOGETHER.
