Hiya ladies and gents, It has been a long whilse since I have been on, and I must apologise, I have had a really busy year with a brand new building for my pre-school on our local school site, expanding into two rooms as opposed to just the one, and I have had a baby so as you can imagine, I have been run off of my feet. Im hoping some of you lovely professionals can help me out, A staff member of mine is taking part in a course and we have been given a load of new resources, one of them being a tuff spot tray and stand - brilliant, the only problem is we wasnt given instructions to put the stand together and we cant work it out Can anyone help us out please?

Hi I'm currently trying to persuade our parent committee to buy the Community Playthings Pre-School set of unit blocks of 149 blocks in 20 shapes http://www.communityplaythings.co.uk/produ...locks/G431.html for indoor block play (we already have the hollow blocks for our decking area) at a cost of £787 including a fixed shelf unit. The committee have come back asking whether they are value for money given that they have found some Melissa and Doug blocks for £70 plus £57 delivery for 60 blocks http://www.amazon.co.uk/Melissa-Doug-60-Pi...58778&sr=8- . We were lucky enough to be given one of these by our LA on some training, but I'm ashamed to say I haven't made good use of it as yet. I'm looking to buy another as we have two L&S groups at a time and I want to get one of the books and CDs to support my staff in using them. Does anyone use them and if so can you recommend which book and CD to get to start off with? Thanks
