My Charley Bear pack arrived today with lots of lovely DVDs to give to the children. Just before christmas I completed a postcard which either came in the post or inside Nursery World. Charley Bear is a new t.v. show by the makers of Fifi to be shown on CBeebies every weekday at 9.30 - as I am at work, don't know if it has started yet. In the pack is a Practitioner's Guide, stickers DVDs and activity sheets and a parent sheet. for more info on Charley Bear you can go to www.littlecharleybear.com.

Briefly without steam coming out of my ears because theres a lot of background to this story: money has been 'found' to fund 20 commercial storysack to start a lending library in our 2 reception classes (60 children) We now need to sort out how we are going to organise a fair loaning out system. Can anybody share how they do this in their setting, cope with checking, when they do it, managing less bags than children, information for parents, how they launched it.....

Hi We currently have name cards in place however I have a child with additional needs and 3 children with EAL. I feel that photos along with their names would benefit all the children. Does anyone know of any sites where I can download a template please or have done something similar themselves? I have tried sparklebox and twinkl with no luck

hi all, been given the opportunity to create a new craft/technology area so what equipment would you recommend? I have a small 'pod' area about 1.5 by 1.5, have found two small benches to make an L shaped work bench and a rack of small storage boxes for small craft stuff, was going to provide the obvious junk model stuff under the bench etc but here is where the problems arise..... i want free acess to scissors, tape dispenser, hole punch etc. the scissors ive won but the tape dispenser is a sticking point so does anyone know of a 'safe' one, always had them at home and never had any problems or cuts however in the name of peace....! want to do a display board too…

I could cry...........................just back form my setting, where we've suffered ceiling collapses and burst pipes. Have almost definately lost our beautiful community playthings wooden blocks, and cupboard units. Have lost all our stock of books, paper, art stuff soft toys,etc........................brand new carpets and lino fitted last week, have had it. Plus side is that landlord is saying he will cover the insurance, but it looks like i won't get open next week.................
