Ok, fellow sleuths!! I need to source some heater guards to go round my wall mounted heaters. We DO have some already, but they are old school throw-outs, which although are in good condition, are HUGE and take up far too much space. So, anyone know where I can buy new ,smaller ones, to fit dimplex sized heaters please?? And, our sign needs renewing.the old one, made of wood has rotted through and we'd like to replace it with a swanky, but not too expensive, new one, probably from aluminium, or similar, so it lasts longer............any ideas please??

I am planning and activity for a group of reception children using coloured dough to make ladybirds. I have planned to use playdough but it would be nice to be able to use the ladybird for a later weighing activity so I wondered about using salt dough. Can I add food colouring to the dough mix to produce some black and some red and then cook them or would I need to cook them and get the children to paint them later?

Hi everyone I'm planning a topic theme for reception based on transport and have got ideas for stories about cars (e.g. Mr Gumpy's Motor Car), trains (e.g. The Train Ride) and buses (Please Don't Chat to the Bus Driver) but I was wondering if anyone knows of a story which includes a bicycle? Thanks Alou

http://www.letsgetcooking.org.uk Let’s Get Cooking is a national network of cooking clubs for children, families and their communities across England. During its first five years, Let's Get Cooking is using £20 million from the Big Lottery Fund to set up the first 5,000 clubs. I applied for & received a grant to support our school cookery club, they also send out really useful resources and give lots of extra support. Hope this is of use. Nicky
