Investigation Area Resources
by Guest- 19 replies

I would really like to have some of these http://www.mindstretchers.co.uk/cat/MT/SWttub.html for my investigation area but they are way too costly for me to slip past the treasurer! Has anyone seen anything similar but cheaper or has anyone got any ideas how I could create something similar? (I'm avoiding the SEF by just planning out the way to implement everything I intend to put in as things I plan to aim for!) Thanks!

Just been to Ikea and bought a garden Mosquito net for £6.99. Thought it might give the Role Play area a 'breath of fresh air'... The one on show had a garden bench inside so looks like lots of space. What a bargain! luluj

Website Link For Cheap Ink
by Guest- 6 replies
- 1.9k views
I'm sure that everybody is just like me and spends hours printing out resources and plans etc. This can cost an absolute fortune especially if you have to buy your own ink. Found a great website for ink at a fraction of the cost of normal. Also does hundreds of other things. Hope this helps one or two people. I use the ink all the time and there's nothing wrong with it. It runs out a bit quicker than originals but at their prices you can buy 10!!! Hope the link is right!! http://new.ukdvdr.co.uk/

Community Playthings Shelving

As a pack away we do some serious damage to our castors, usually having to replace them often. Can anyone tell me if the fold d own ones on the community playthings furniture can handle being moved twice daily?

Hi! Thought of sharing some photos of how my classroom looked a year ago on the day before school started. I would like to cover the benches with some home-made cushions that have the same shape (oblong), but I am not handy. Might see if I find someone to help out with that. The entrance door was changed, so I cannot put anything behind the new one since it has a see-through glass. I have moved the phonics pocket chart hanger to the wall on the left. The "Sound it out!" will become "This is me!", so the children can add drawings of themselves on the 1st day of school and expose them there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Pva Pots

Hello all, I am wondering if there is such a thing as something to hold small amounts of PVA in with a brush lid? I shudder at the thought of having PVA out all the time but know it has to be done but would like as little spillage as possible. Would be good to hear what you use for this sort of thing. ppp (yes I could use small pots and brushes but a pot with a brush in the lid would limit the amount of times I have to wash up a PVA pot as it's all contained together)
