Hi, I am searching for a poem about nursery and can't seem to find it anywhere. It said something about playing in the sand, having milk and a nap and holding hands. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If any of you managed to get hold of some of the seeds Countryfile was giving away, please be aware that the packs contained CORNCOCKLE seeds, which can be potentially fatal ( if eaten) they produce wheezing, sickness, diarrhoea etc and even a small amount is enough to kill a horse, apparantly. I have just googled corncockle and it seems that this is true. So, if you got them, I guess you'll need to watch out for them and decide what action to take. Thankfully, we didn't manage to get any.

Mobile Farm

We have had a wonderful day in our nursery and out of school club as we had a mobile farm visit the setting. She set up pens on our playground and brought pigs (one child asked if they were guinea pigs!), a calf, sheep, ducks and duckings, chicks, rabbits and mice. It must have been one of the best activities we have ever done and a lot less stressful than visiting a farm. The children loved it and they all got plenty of opportunity to touch/hold/feed the animals. Such a lovely day. I would recommend it to everyone. All the children from ages 9 months to 11 years loved it - loads of observations and photos to add the Tapestry now.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get trays like the ones in the photo from? I took the photo in a nursery class I visited but they couldn't remember.

I've recently started following Alistair Bryce-Clegg on twitter and have been inspired to change the resources in our water tray, sand tray, home corner. This is today's haul from a shopping trip in the charity shops, spent less than £10 and I'm now planning my next trip!
