Hello everyone! We're going on holiday next week to Cornwall with our nearly-2 and nearly-4 year olds and we were thinking about days out, and I thought what better place to come for good ideas?! We're staying in a village called Crantock which is in the same kind of area as Newquay and Perranporth - does anyone know of anything that our little ones might enjoy? (We already know of a cider farm and a cream tea shop for mummy and daddy! ) Thank you!

I have been searching the web for suitable pictures for peg and drawer labels. I have found this site Free Clip art The pictures were just what I was looking for and thought I would share them with you. There are loads suitable for role play as well. They were easy to download, simple right click and save and you don't need to register first. I saved loads really quickly. I am going to make Peg and drawer Labels. Once I have made them I will post them on here, should anyone want to use them. P.S. I am not involved with this site in any way.

Hi, I am just trying to get a few ideas together for displays for my classroom at the beginning of term. I am an NQT who will be teaching a Reception class and want to ensure the classroom is vibrant, welcoming and engaging when the children arrive. As yet I do not know much about the children as due to trainging sown south and relocating for work I was unable to be truly involved in the induction process and the school does not do home visits. I was thinking of having a birthday display on one board, with each chid's birthday, a welcome display for which in the first few days I would like the children to draw a picture of themselves, maybe doing their favouri…
