Hi not early years but i am starting a puzzle group with some of the juniors. Does anyone know where i can find the sort of problems that need logic to solve them. I mean the sort of thing when a square is cut up at strange angles and it only fits together one way. I have done wordsearches etc but club is at lunchtime and dont want them writing. want more quick thinking things where children have to work together. Ordered some puzzles from a catalogue but they havent arrived yet. Thanks for any inspiration out there.

Sneezesafe* is an exciting health education programme about tissue training for teachers of pupils aged 4-6, which has been written by education experts and trialled in schools. The resource aims to help Foundation and early primary pupils practise correct respiratory hygiene and tissue use in order to help prevent the spread of viruses such as colds and flu. You can request two boxes and 30 sample packets of tissues free of charge. I think we have gone through that many today alone! Not sure how to do a link. http://www.kleenex.co.uk/sneezesafe/teache...one/default.htm

Multicultural Welcome Posters

Hi. I have been asked to update our multicultural area in the pre-school as most of the resources belong to the current manager who is planning to take them to our new setting. I want to make small-ish sized flags with the word 'Welcome' in that language, but don't know where to find the correct translations for the word. Any ideas where I could find this please? Thanks in advance!

Christmas Songs

Can anyone suggest a good CD of Christmas Songs for children that has the words printed with it? Or has anyone got their own list of Christmas songs that they sing regularly with the children that they wouldn't mind sharing....preferably with the words too?!? The staff at the nursery I support want some prompts to remind them of different songs that they could be singing at circle time and I just wondered if anyone out there has got something ........ Many many thanks in advance
