We are updating our outdoor area and now need some posters etc to put up based on a transport theme. We are making a marine ply bus but would also like to decorate the fence area of our fairly small garden with something eye catching. Have tried laminating stuff in the past but it seems to curl up and die quite quickly! Has anyone found a company that makes something like this please?

Light Boxes

I attended a lovely course this morning at the Early Excellence in Huddersfield which was led by Pat Brunton and Linda Thornton on children as scientists and technologists. They talked a lot about the value of light boxes and have been looking through the catalogue which they gave us but they are quite expensive. Am wondering whether to get one when our budget somes through and wanted to know how often you use yours if you have one and whether or not they are worth the money. Also, which budget would you expect this to come out of? Our team is having a bit of a battle with the head at the moment over general resources coming out of FS budget

I have just found this website and had to share it straight away. Use the search bar to search for e.g. sand, water, playdough, blocks, whatever you can think of in nursery, and it comes up with information presented in a really lovely way for sharing with staff, parents etc... There are printable pages for parents to use at home too. Does anyone else have a really great site for things like this? Except this forum which is of course the best!!!!! Ali. x oops, forgot to post the site address, http://betterkidcare.psu.edu/ Click here

I have recently brought two fisher price digital cameras just thought I would let you all know how we have found these. The cameras are excellent very child friendly and sturdy, they also come with an excellent slide show programme which has enabled us to make a dvd of photo's (very professionall looking) which is on constant in the foyer on a dvd player. I have inserted a link for the cameras £60 from ELC but I have bought off e-bay for £48 including postage. Shelley Visit My Website

Hi there Can any one help me please? We are revamping our smallish outdoor area and would like to put up a variety of interesting art work to stimulate the little folk! Being London based our main theme is based on "trees and traffic" but I am having real problems finding a bus/coach to display on our fence area. ideally it would be about 6' ish long!!! we have managed to ( legally) acquire a bus stop and feel that a bus on the fence would look fab! Any help much appreciated. Goose

I am trying to source a sandpit for our Outdoor Reception area. A builder's quote for £2500 to build a sunken sandpit has left me a bit stumped! Can anyone recommend a large, wooden sandpit? I've been trawling the internet and they all seem rather small. Here's hoping. Kate

Does anyone know where I can get hold of some, without paying a fortune? I don't need loads and loads, just enough to cover a tuff spot probably!

Just to let you know of this TRIAL service that SparkleBox is offering Get help via Instant Messenger . He hopes to make it permanent. I just hope we don't overload him . He was very nice and helped me out quite soon . Thanks again, Samuel!
