Hi there, I have seen some fantastic large shaped mirrors in our local sure start unit. They include dinosaurs, flowers etc unfortunately the lady who showed me around did not know where they were bought from. Does anyone know of a company that supplies large fun shaped safety mirrors for the indoor and outdoor environment?

Hi I have read all your topics on discovery bottles and think they are a fantastic idea. We are a new childrens centre so as such do not have a lot of children and parents in at the minute to access empty bottles can anyone suggest where I can access some. Hi peeps, trying desperately (and failing) to get all my prep done at this end of the week and we've made a last minute change to what we normally do to 'pattern' Yes of course the wonderful SueR has provided me with some ideas (thanks Sue) in her article but my brian is fuzzy and I'm not sure what to do for role play.. anyhting lend itself particularly well to this theme? Im also looking for stories...beyond the mum and dad make me laugh and Elmer of course. I had thought of picking any story that had a repetitive text (patterned text!) but also wanted some stories about patterns. Thanks

Hi Have to make jam buns tomorrow using a stiff 'rock cake' consisency mixture, making a thumb print hole in the middle for a spoonful of jam. Has found rock cake mixture using 12 oz s/r flour and 3 oz margerine, 3 oz caster sugar but wondered if anybody had a recipie using spoon measurements so that the children could have individual bowls etc. Hope that makes sense, bit of headache so head bit fuzzy. Hubby just reminded me to put on my new reading glasses! That might help! Thanks
