Makaton Symbols

We've been asked to get hold of some printed Makaton signs/symbols to use in the nursery with a little boy who has very delayed speech - we'll be encouraging him to make choices between two activities, etc. by showing him the signss, e.g. sand or water? Does anyone know where we can get these symbols from -any websites or anything? Many thanks

hi, can anyone point me in the direction of some good templates to make some 3D ducklings to use on a display. (hopefully that can be sewn) I've tried to draw some but my skills are a bit rubbish and they end up looking like chicks!! laua xx

Hi Everyone Have you got a Beat Baby? I went on our Early Years Conference the other day and was fortunate to take part in a workshop run by Ros Bayley. She was also the key note speaker in the afternoon. She is so inspiring. I had seen the Beat Baby before but just thought it was a bit twee. But following the workshop I now have one too. Some time ago I downloaded a leaflet for parents about sharing books and developing reading skills for 3-5 years. It was just 2 pages and I felt it was quite a good resource and I've now mislaid it. I was positive it was a sure start item and I've spent a good hour with different key words on the site to no avail.Has any kind person got any ideas or suggestions what it could be and how I can find it again?
