For years our setting has performed the same nativity play and now its time for something new. Any ideas? Need something with simple catchy tunes and perhaps a few words..... I dont mind being the narrator. Any ideas welcome P.S. This is my first posting so I hope it works!

Hi all, I apologise in advance for even mentioning the 'christmas' word but as I have been allocated the role to co ordinate it so I thought I could begin my search here.. Just wondered if anyone has any productions they have used and think worked well or would recommend?? It will be for 4 - 7 year olds and we are a Church of England school.. any ideas and suggestions would be greatly received Many thanks in advance! x

Christmas Song Ideas 'stars'?

Can anyone suggest some nice music / song that we can use in our Nativity play. We need it for the 'stars' to perform. I've looked through some of the 'bought' productions we have (nothing grabbed me) and we used the obvious 'twinkle twinkle' last year. I think I've ran out of 'starry inspiration' - any help gladly accepted. Thanks

Hello It has been suggested that the children in my school design greeting cards to be sold at our Autumn Fayre. The design needs to be bright and colourful on A4 paper, as later the chosen designs will be scanned and printed onto glossy cards. The theme is Season's greetings and must be suitable for Christmas and Eid. We have been asked to steer away from religious designs (baby Jesus etc). Any medium can be used. I teach Reception and am stuck for ideas. One class may draw islamic patterns, another may take their inspiration from the local country - camels, desert, roman ruins etc. I am flummoxed.
