For this years Christmas Production we are basing it on the story book 'Sleepy Jesus' At the start the children will sing Twinkle twinkle holy star to start it off, the next song that we used in 2003 was O little town of bethlehem, the children we have this year are not into sing at the moment. Age range 2 years 6 months to 4 years. we are looking for simple fun catchie songs to replace O little town of Bethlehem which is sung near the beginning and Away in a manger which is the last song. Hello all, The Reception children are going to dress up as angels in our Nativity play and we need some ideas for suitable angel dance music. Please be more constructive than my 17 year old son who has suggested the William Tell Overture! We have considered the sugar plum fairy but have used this tune previously. Many thanks, Angie

Hi Anyone who can help? I've planned Christmas cards, hats, decorations, songs, num & lit activities; sorted out school play castings and costumes etc. I thought I was doing well- until I rememberd- calendars. Any simple ideas that won't take me hours to prepare and the children seconds to do, for an original calendar idea. We have been given the small calandar booklets to stick at the bottom. It's reception class by the way! Did photos last year, doing handprints as cards and wanted something a bit more exciting than 'just' a picture or painting. Not too fussy am I!! Thanks in advance!
