Has anyone got any sequencing pictures for The Christmas Story? Last year I found some pictures which you cut out and put in order to make a book. I think it was a web page but can't find anything. Anita

Hi Guys; Our topic this half term leading up until Christmas is Ourselves/the senses. I have lots of activities lined up to link in with this topic, but as we are following this topic until christmas i wanted to try and link Christmassy activities in, with the topic. We are making snowglobes when we reach the week we are learning about sight, but i just wondered if any of you wonderful people had any other Christmas activities that could also be loosely connected with 'The senses' Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have had a quick search to try and find a little poem posted some time last week, I knew I should have saved it there and then. The poem was to be used with an advent calender and 25 paper loops, the last one being white. Does this jog anyones memory. Be very grateful

Hi there Im going to be building pretend sleighs out of blocks with the children. I have printed out lovely pictures of sleighs, and I would like to draw their attention to the fact that they are all curved. Except that if I dont know myself why they are built like that. Im sure its something to do with ergonomics??? or the ability to get through snow, because I know that skis are also built with a curve upwards. Sorry, having a blonde moment . Any ideas?? G.

Don't know if any one would like to copy this. I have used it as an alternative to a Christmas Nativity Play. We use it with 2.1/2 years old and up. We have just tabards of different colour material for each group.i.e black spiders silver stars, red/orange fireflies etc. we also have a shoemaker and wife if need be and customer and wife, depending on how many confident children we have. we set up a "stage area with a main room and a bedroom that is open to the audience. we make sure that there is as many off stage areas for each group to hide behind,…
