hello everyone Does anyone have any fabulous ideas on 3d shapes/2d shapes linked to christmas? So far we are doing: Making cones to put chocolate in (to sell in christmas fayre) making crackers using cylinders sorting wrapped presents. making christmas pictures using 2d shapes Just wondering if anyone else has any ideas..I would really appreciate it! I'm due to help out at a Christmas holiday club and would like to make some sweets with the children (mostly 2 and 3 year olds, plus few 4 year olds). Does anyone have a recipe for Peppermint Creams and Chocolate Fudge, or anything else please ?

Hi I felt sure i was going to find the sheet music for these songs online somewhere easily. How wrong I am !! In previous years i have collected various music (for piano or keyboard) but unfortuanately have mislaid it all. Hi all, I'm doing a Reception only Nativity this year and was wondering if anyone has ever tried 'Nursery Rhyme Nativity' by Alison Hedger (Golden Apple Productions)? I have a class of 30 and some very young boys. The songs look simple to learn but I cannot seem to find a cast list or sample script on the internet. I'm worried that there may not be enough to keep the children's interest and don't particularly fancy writing my own script! Otherwise, any ideas on a simple play I can do with Reception that isn't too simple (ie boring??) I have done 'Christmas Eve in The Toy Shop' from 3 Little Nativities (but I don't like the other two in the book) and Wriggly…

Hi all Im running out of ideas to do during free flow for adult initiated and for grouptime which is linked to christma. So far we have done snoq pictures with chalk, painting christmas pictures, making 3d santas, wrapping presents, ICE, cutting snowflakes, making stockings, made calenders and xmas cards, we wrapped instruments got the children to guess which instrument it was, read the christmas story. Has anyone got anything different they have done?
