I'm looking for an old game called Tactilo. It has five playing cards, with pictures of wooden items which are in a bag for the children to match to the picture. Lovely game and I'd love to get hold of one...........................but it's an old game and I have had no luck so far.So, my little super-sleuths, here is today's challenge: can anyone help me to locate one???

Help! Does anyone know of a short poem about ice, icicles or similar? FS and KS1's Christmas production is the Christmas alphabet. We have R and I to do something with! R is easy and half the class are reindeers with Santa and Rudolph. The children wanted to be icicles and ice fairies for the i, but I am really stuck in thinking of something for them to do. Could really do with a short easy poem for them to say but I can't find anything. Thanks Julie

Ho ho ho I am looking to redo our display boards with the christmas theme for our concert. I have all the usuals ideas of gluing and sticking to make stockings, christmas trees, christmas puddings etc. I also saw an idea of making Rudolphs with handprints which I am hoping to try. Does anyone have any good, fun, new ideas on activities to do with the children for work to be displayed on boards?

Well we had our christmas concert today, and after months of singing the song's so the children learn them, and mad rush to put costumes on most of the children (some didn't want to) trying to do it all in 45 minutes befor the parents came in, performed the song's and for some strange reason it only took 10 minutes!!!! Mind you the kids were really well behaved today, i was very proud.

reindeer_food.docx just thought i'd share this easy activity with you that our little ones love doing!! take 1 small brown envelope a spoonfull of oats and glitter and the lable above (don't forget a handful of imagination too!!) not only does it spark lots of communication, language etc it opens up lots of role play ideas etc. plus the birds have a treat christmas morning!!!
