Hi - For those of you who are unaware of the new changes to the site, this news announcement should help! Regular forum visitors may well have read most of what follows: As many of you will have read in various conversations in this forum, we have no source of funding to maintain and develop this site and community. For the last year and a half we have made approaches for funding to local and national government departments, and also to charitable organisations such as the CfBT, various lottery bodies and others. All these efforts drew a blank, and as the site membership developed and the cost of maintaining and developing the site grew, we made the decision that …

Hi all - Just a last reminder that the day after tomorrow the structure and layout of the Foundation Stage Forum will be changing. I won't go into the details again; for anyone who has missed the first news item discussing what will be changing you can find it here. There's no need to panic - aside from an unfamiliar layout, which hopefully will be much more user friendly, the site and forum will be much the same as before - but if you do find yourselves a bit lost, please feel free to contact me at steve.foundation-stage.info. Hi all - As promised, here is the announcement of the FSF re-launch! As many of you will have read in various conversations in this forum, we have no source of funding to maintain and develop this site and community. Hi all - Took a bit longer than I anticipated and a couple of heart stoppers (for me and Hotgoss at least!) but the forum should be working as normal again. The appearance should only be minimally affected, and there are a number of new features, most of which you probably don't need. The main reason for doing it now is to get it out the way for the main launch in a couple of weeks time. If you find any broken bits, can you let me know here? And I'll slowly uncross my fingers over the next couple of days... Hali - put your photo up!

Hi all - As a first step towards the new site, the forum will be unavailable for a short time tomorrow morning (21st April) - or today if you read this tomorrow! - while I make some essential changes to the forum software. You should notice very little change when the forum comes up again - a couple of features, such as being able to see who has visited the forum today, will be unavailable for a few days - but if you notice essential aspects of the forum not working please PM or email me by clicking Steve to the left of this message.

Changing The Time!

Some of you may have noticed that the time you have on the site is an hour out-due to changing the clocks the other weekend. If you go into "My Controls" at the top of the screen, click on Board settings in the options section on the left hand side of the page, tick the day light savings time box and then click on change my account options this will give you the correct time!! Hi - To try and help increase the chatroom usage, some lovely people have volunteered to be in the chatroom at regular times. Obviously they can't guarantee to be there, but if you are amongst the many who have PMd me asking when the best times might be, these are they! Thanks to Cat33, Susan, Mundia, Linda and Hali who have volunteered to be available at these times: Susan and Chris, 8pm till 9pm on Mondays. Linda on Tuesdays, 8pm till 9pm. Mundia 8pm till 9pm Wednesday Hali, 8pm till 9pm Thursday
