Dear FSF friends! I’m very sorry to tell you all that I will be leaving my role at The Foundation Stage Forum in June. As many of you know, as well as working as the Forum Content Editor and Education Advisor I own and manage my own large nursery. Additionally, I now find myself with elderly parents, one of whom is suffering with Dementia and needs constant care. Having regular hours at FSF is proving too much for me to manage and so I am stepping down. Steve and Helen, who are old (not that old) friends as well as my employers, have agreed that I will remain with FSF as a consultant (type of thing) from time to time sharing my knowledge and experience as a nursery owne…

To some of you today may be known as Valentines day but for us here at FSF HQ it's our Birthday Today marks 16 years of the forum and what a fun 16 years it has been and what a delight to bring so many people together. If you're receiving newsletters from us and don't want to be, it's very easy to unsubscribe. The easiest way is to simply click on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of all of the emails we send. If however, you don't have one of those emails to hand, you can also change your preferences from within your FSF account. To do that you just need to click on the notifications bell in the top right hand corner and go to 'Notification Settings'. Just to let you know, we are undertaking some planned maintenance on the FSF website this Sunday 14th January. We anticipate the maintenance to be in the early hours of the morning, between 00:00 and 06.00 GMT. The forum website will not be available during that time. It will not affect Tapestry, other than things you might do through the FSF such as paying Tapestry invoices.

On the new forum you can filter the content that you see. You will find this very helpful if there are aspects of the forum that you are not interested in, if you are not a Tapestry user for example. You can make your own activity stream if you want to, or you can use one of the custom ones we have made ourselves. In each case go to the Forum tab, then to the Activity tab, then to 'My activity streams' Option 1 Select 'Foundation Stage Forum Feed' this will show you everything on the forum, but not Tapestry related content. Have you got a question? Any problems, however small and niggly (also if you notice things we might not have spotted!) If it's a general query then you can put it here ... if it's private then send me a DM (click on my name and you see 'message') The first thing you'll struggle to find is 'view new content' - If you go to the Forum page you'll see a tab called 'Activity' and there are options to see 'things I haven't read', 'things I've started' etc have a little look. It's all there .... I promise x

Hi everyone, You might have noticed a banner at the top of the Foundation Stage Forum telling you about some downtime on Sunday night. Well, we have some exciting news!
