So, it's all going rather well - we're swanky and new ... but we have found a few things that aren't quite as swish as we want them to be These things we know about and the busy busy Developers are currently fixing things (rummaging in the innards of FSF) We know that some of the photographs are not showing properly We know that some members who joined pre 2010 have received unexpected invoices from us - we have already cancelled them, if you are worried then send in an email customer.service@eyfs.info They are few wonky pages too - but we are bolstering them with PVA

We have put our April newsletter onto the site today, you can read it here: April Newsletter. As many people are on their Easter break we have not sent it out by email to everyone (yet) - we will do that when everyone is back at work ... but didn't want any eager beavers to miss out! You'll read in the newsletter that FSF are going to be at Nursery World North in May, will we see you there?...

As you know we have always collected money for NSPCC via the FSF bookshelf. We have extended this so that any Amazon purchases you make will raise money for NSPCC. At the moment, on the front page of the FSF site you will see a Busy Bee logo (which is about 'celebrating your inspection') underneath that is a link to the Amazon website. If you do your Amazon shopping through this link we will get a % of what you spend and we will send it to the NSPCC. Once you click on the link you can log into Amazon as normal and use the site as you always do (so if you have Amazon Prime or any wishlists saved none of that changes - it's your Amazon site, not ours). By going in through o…

Although, as you know, we don't allow advertising at the FSF, we wanted to celebrate publication of the first novel by Cait Faulkner, a long-term and very active member of the FSF. She has many friends here, and if you post regularly you are very likely to have been helped by her. Great to see the book in print and for Kindle - if you read and enjoy it I'm sure she'd love to hear from you! It's intended for readers of age ten and over. I'm 57 and fully intend to read it... Here's an Amazon link

Hi all - Just to let you know that the FSF will be unavailable from about 11pm this evening (14th January) for - hopefully - only about an hour. We're making a few software server changes. :1b

Hi all - Belatedly got round to donating the proceeds of the bookshelf page to the NSPCC. For those of you who didn't know, if you buy from Amazon by clicking through from this page, a small percentage gets paid to the FSF, and we send it on to child based charities (incidentally, you don't have to buy those items - anything you buy from the Amazon site after being directed there from the FSF should qualify). It should have had the FSF as the sender - don't know why my name replaced it, but here's the receipt, for 223.15 - mostly the result of sunnyday's spending sprees, I assume!

Hi all - I'd like to introduce the newest member of the FSF, Lauren, who will be working alongside Sue, Louise, Matt, Matt, Matt, Chris and me from this week. This is Lauren's first full-time job, having just graduated, and she'll be kept very busy working on front line support (largely for Tapestry, but she'll be looking at any general FSF queries and issues as well). You'll no doubt be hearing a lot from her both on the Forum and behind the scenes, but now you'll know who she is. Please make her feel welcome! :1b Edit: Oops. Someone called Helen claims to work here too....
