Hi there, I wondered if anyone can help me. I am doing part 5 of the E115 which is all about child protection and children's rights. I need to get my settings policies about these issues, rouble is as a nanny I don't actually have any policies. Does anybody have some that I could possibly look at, or know where I could find some. Also I would appreciate any help or advice from other nannies or childminders about how you get around the fact that you are alone with the children for the majority of the day? Thanks in advance Rapunzel x

Just waiting for my tutor to get back to me, but I really want to make a start on the Analysis Chapter today... I am using a Case Study Approach... does anyone know if this makes any difference in terms of how I write up Chapter 4? Do I need to write up a Case Study Report to put in the Appendix - or can I just write up sections of the observations and interview. Or is Chapter 4 a case of using the data/findings to answer the questions (themes) I identified in the Literature Review? Thank you in anticipation, Lucy

For those of you who have successfully completed and passed your BAhons ( and other degrees!) when you write up your conclusion do you fill it with references or is it assumed all of the references will be in the main body because the conclusion is pulling it altogether? Sam (used to have a brain but now its turned to mush)

Hi everyone My Major project is due in 10 days time (yikes) and I'm looking for evidence of research which has compared different types of provision, particularly highlighting committee responsibilities and expectations. So far I have Penn 2008, who mentions bits and pieces; Anning and Edwards, same, but no-one seems to mention the enormous pressure on committees to maintain quality and keep up with ever changing legislation, do everything unpaid, co-ordinate fundraising, training, etc etc. If anyone has seen any research covering this please can you point me in the right direction? My MP is on parental involvement and I'm bringing in comparisons with Head start, Regg…

Hello everyone, I work as a Centre worker within a Children's centre and the centre's philosophy is developed by the Reggio Emilia approach. As it is getting close to christmas i was looking into providing the children with more festive activities, however i am not allowed to use templates, cut outs etc as it has to allow the children to use a greater range of open-ended resources. I find this very challenging as I cant think of anything i could do with the children. Any ideas would be greatful. Thank you.

Dear Colleagues I am writing to gratefully ask for your assistance. After previously completing my Foundation Degree through the Open University, I am now currently completing my dissertation for my BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies which involves research into your views as experienced practitioners. My study questions the link between higher qualifications and the outcomes for children, and whether practioners feel supported in their studies by the government as a result of its recent initiatives. I would therefore be extremely grateful if you could find the time to answer the following questionnaire. There are no wrong or write answers as I wo…
