Hi, when I completed E115 I was working as a pre school leader and found evidence for EYCLO 2 - Contribute to the protection of children from abuse fairly easy, now updating for E215 I am working as a TA in reception class and no longer really have any responsibility for safeguarding directly, any ideas as to what I can use?

Am I dreaming about this or is their an example of a planning wheel somewhere in the EYFS information. The type which shows you the direction guide of planning starting with observing the child. I know i've seen it somewhere!! but where? Can anyone help? Sunshine

Hi there, My name is Agi, I joined this side not long ago and I am glad that I can find so many usefull information here. I started E115 course in October and have to say- it is so different to E123 and E124! The worst thing are evidances for ECLO's . I work as a Nanny and cant think of anything for ECLO 1 and 7 so if u have any ideas I will be very very gratefull!!!!!

Hello I am currently trying to put my research proposal together and I'm stuck. My project is on risks in the outdoor classroom - I can find loads of infor on the need to take risks. But struggling to start a counter argument - who wants kids wrapped in cotton wool (besides mums - and today I'm included in that total as a year today my youngest tried ripping his ear off on a slide. he's banned from slides today - tomorrows fine. But not today. can't bear another halloween in a & e.) Thanks You

Hi to anyone who has done or is doing E115. I am studying E115 and am a little confused at the moment regarding PEF and when to start to put information into it. As I am working through the study guides there has been no mention to put anything in my PEF only the WBLF, so thats fine, all the activity answers I have put in my WBLF but I havent as yet put anything in my PEF as it hasnt asked for any. It does talk about the PEF in stage 4 of part 2 so I assumed that was when to start adding information, only on the online forum for the OU some students have posted about collecting evidence now, Am I ok just waiting till I get to stage 4? Thanks in advance for any advis…

Hello,I'm just after some advice on the Foundation degree.I am now 27 and wanting to commence it in September.I worked in a nursery preschool for one year and have been doing agency work since August so come September i will have had 2 years experience working with Children on my own initiative.However I am currenly working via an agency .I do supply work although I have been on the current nursey for 8 weeks.I have heard you have to get a sheet signed if you do the Foundation degree however as I am not in a setting more than a coupleof months who would i get to sign this -my agency. anyway any adviceon the Foundation degree ie how much work is involved units etc thanks …

Hi everyone Sorry to be a pain ! I am currently in the process of writing a report about schemas (and rapidly running out of time) has anyone come across any references to schematic play or the cognitive process of schemas in any academic journals. I think I've spent the last three hours going through journals and have had no luck. I don't think I'm ever going to finish this report and its got to be handed in on Monday, plus a powerpoint presentation to be e-mailed to my tutor by Sunday. Hi all I am over half way of completing my level3 in CCLD and have been thinking of what I would like to do next. a) Nothing and enjoy embark on the foundation degree My ambition is to become a primary school teacher, but for various reasons I haven't quite made it yet. However, after beginning work in my pre-school and working my way towards the level 3 I have started to think, why not? I have looked at the local colleges and university's around me and they do not offer this degree, so I am looking at going through the OU route - which will probably suit me better.
