Hi I just thought I would pick your brains if you don't mind! I am about to start my research proposal project I have made my choice from a given list of four and am going to tackle 'Disabled children and transition' With such a broad title the possibilites are endless really in terms of 'which disability' and 'which transition' My head is spinning with ideas just wonder what you would decide to focus on in terms of the disability and the transition. Answers on a postcard please............ <edited because I forgot to say please!! >

Hi everyone, I am looking at the titles of my next foundation degree modules and one of them is 'Investigating Quality in Practice'. I have had a little surf for books and the term ECERS seems to come up a lot. Could anyone to me explain what it is? I have seen lots of mentions of the term on the forum but not heard of it otherwise. I would also love to hear if there are any books which you think might be good for this module or for my other module which is 'Planning and Managing an appropriate curriculum'. Thanks

I need to write a report on one or more of the experiences currently available to children in my setting ( a foundation unit) ,which I believe allows children to develop their knowledge in maths ,language and science. What would you choose ?

I got the offical transcripts from college during my holidays. Which I opened yesterday to find out that I have passed the Foundation Degree Early Years!!!!!! I already knew that I had passed but its nice to see it on paper! Now then cant wait until I get my BA (hons), nearly there. Although I am going back to work in September so can't go back to college. So I was planning on doing my GCSE's but I am not sure if the local ones will be full. So I am thinking of doing the BA (Hons) Early Years with the OU although I am not sure how the course works. Hi all, I know there are quite a few studying here for the EYFS Foundation Degree and I admire all of you. I am due to start my course in September and I was wondering, can anyone give me some advice as to what I can expect. I thought it was a good idea at first to go for this but now I am wondering if I have done the right thing. I am a childminder so I do not have the experience of working within a nursery setting. Any advice as to what I should start looking at would be wonderful here. Thanks Jan x

Hi I am thinking of doing the BA Early Years with the OU. I have got qualifications equivalent to a foundation degree, so was wanting to apply for a credit transfer. I have looked into this on the website. It has put me off a bit the fact that you have to send them your original certificates and get lots of information from where you studied. I am worried incase my certificates get lost in the post or get mislaid. The other information I should beable to sort easily enough. Am I just being silly? I was wondering if anyone else has applied for credit transfer and how you found it, to put my mind at rest. Thanks Netta Also if anyone has done this d…
