Hello and Happy Easter to everyone! For the next part of my FD I have to do a self-evaluation (on me rather than the setting), I have to get feedback from my colleagues. I am working on a questionnaire for them to complete and plan to leave it in the staff room for them to complete anonomously (sp?). I've some ideas of questios to ask but have obviously eaten too much chocolate as my brain has gone dead!! If you where compiling this kind of questionnaire for your staff to complete what would you put in in? All ideas greatfully received!! Many thanks

New Security Door System

Hi, I'm a Nursery manager in a private setting. we were visited by a lady on Thurday who discussed a thumb scanner to allow parents to enter the building, which we have decided to have. Anyway at the moment we use a door bell system were the staff answer the door and they sign the children in and out, when we have our new system i dont think that would work so it might be an option to ask parents to sign their children in and out. Does anyone else have a thumb system or a policy and parents signing in and out? does this cause lots of problems?? Thank you for reading any help would be appreciated?

Hi Well i'm progressing well, i have completed one 3000 word essay so far over the easter holidays, now working on my child study... i'm looking for a good quote to link in with social skills, can anyone point me in the right direction of a theorist etc... was looking for something to do with friendships or an all round quote linked to social development.. i have searched loads of books but can't find one that fits... as we have been told to separate emotional dev, self identity and social.. all the quotes i find seem to link more to self identity or emotional dev...hope this makes sense...
