I am writing a report for work based learning and am really finding it hard.I had just got to grips with essays but this is something else. I am up to 900 words only 900 to go. If I get going tomorrow I might get it finished. Only wanted a little moan so now I feel better. Have tried to get examples of a report but with no luck. Thanks for listening on a saturday night

by Guest- 7 replies

Hi hope somebody can help me - I am in my final year of a degree in Early Childhood Studies - and am suffering from a very tired brain. On Thursday of this week I have a planned debate, and I have got to defend the EYFS against Reggio Emilia. I am really struggling, to come up with positives, as I actually find myself very drawn to Reggio Emilia way. If anyone has any ideas I would be really gratefull. Many thanks Joanne x

Hi all, I'm doing the Safeguarding children module for the Foundation degree, we have to do a group presentation on something we'd use to promote children's awareness of safety. We're planning to use 'Not So Loud Oliver!', and dicuss how we'd use it with 2 - 4 year olds as that's what we work with. Could you tell me if you've used the book with other age groups and how they enjoyed it? I know my DS2 in Yr1 liked it when we had it from the library so feel it would be appropriate to at least Yr2, younger children probably not except in a childminder mixed age setting with older children. Thanks in advance!

Exploratory Play

I mentor two practitioners for the Foundation Degree and they have just been given a topic to research for a timed assignment in two weeks time - "The essay will involve critical analysis of exploratory play in relation to learning and development in EACH of the age ranges 0-3yrs, 3-5 yrs and 5-7 yrs." I've got a general idea about what I'll discuss with them but would welcome anyone else's ideas, especially in relation to theorists on exploratory play and the 5-7 age range in particular. Thank you!
