   Good Morning. I am just starting my final piece of work in a BA (Hons) and have been asked to write a Rationale. I understand that it is a statement of reason for a chosen activity, but have no idea how it should be written. My chosen topic is gender and the acquisition of writing skills! I would be so grateful if anyone could kindly give me just a few hints or words to get me started ... sitting in front of a blank page is so disheartening, even though I'm passionate about the subject.    Hi Everyone I am wondering if you lovely people would take a moment to help me with my research project for my dissertation. I am researching how we can promote mathematics in the outdoor environment and although I am primarily looking at my own setting, I need to be able to collate the views of others as well so I can compare and contrast.    Today I emailed registry services as I received my independent study grade about a month ago, but have still not received confirmation of my degree. Long story short, I GOT A FIRST!!! I am gobsmacked say the least!! To everyone out there on the path to BA or EYP/T you can do it!!! September 2008 I started out with only my NNEB (from many many moons previously!!) Now I have a first!! Oh wow!! Thank you again for all the support this site has offered me!!

   I just wanted to share with you all, that five years on I now have a BA! I have been waiting for my independent study results which I got yesterday from my tutor and it's officially done! The work has to be double marked but even if it went down a grade I have still passed!!!! I don't know what classification of degree it will be but I am chuffed to get the degree full stop!! Just sharing this because you lot have been with me since the start way back in September 2008!!! Through the FD, through the EYPS and actually through some surgery and cancer. Thank you!!    Hi everyone, I have just returned back to the Open University after 3 years away. I gave birth to my second child, I now want to complete my Open BA degree. I have to study EK313 as part it. I wondered if anyone has also started this courseso we can journey it together. I wondered if any one has any idea on this first question from TMA 01: critically discuss how childhood and youth research builds on a series of values, beliefs and imagew about children and young people.     level 4 qualifications.....

    I have been nvq level 3 for years now...and would like to do some more study. I am not academic and would like to attempt a level 4 qualification.....I know most people go on to do the degree but I feel at this time that its out of my league. Can any one recommend a course? I have used distance learning before and the usual nvq format....I just tried the cache website but found only level 4 for playwork. I work in a preschool setting and currently and EYFS co ordinator and seem to be gaining some of the senco role too.....and have been at my setting for 6 years. Thank you in advance x
