Hi everyone, I am starting to feel really jaded with everything of late, it almost feels like an anit-climax. hi here i am again asking for help I have started course ke312 with the ou and am rereading my tma 1 . The first tma question asks us to reflect on : why good communication skills need to be developed by practitioners, and what are the pragmatic and philosophical issues involved? I want to start by talking about how children communicte, how it is important for practitioners to encourage this- i'm not sure if i am on the right track. I was wondering if anyone else was on the same course as i am. Thanks

Hi everyone - am hoping for some of your expert advice. I'm halfway through the first year of a degree in Early Childhood studies ( feels like longer!) and feel that referencing is the bane of my life. I read Clare's recent post with interest and I too have become more organised with this. I have a file with headings, under which I put my references, details of author and all other info. This is a great help but I still seem to manage to make annoying mistakes on references within my assignments. As I'm distance learning it often takes a little while for my tutor to get back to me and so I wondered if anyone had any miracle ideas to allow it to all sink…

I have just registered my interest in the new course E100 (E123 & E124). The actual registration isn't being sent out until mid March so will sign up properly then for October start. I just wondered if there are any books/materials you can recommend for the course that I could start collecting/reading now. Thanks in advance!!
