I have just completed my first year on the foundation degree, and have loved every minute of it, although it is hard work! I am due to begining my second year in September. Right I have a choice of 3 topic that I am interested in and I cannot decide which one to choose. My choices are: Bi-lingual lanaguage children. Transitions from pre-school to reception class in primary school. schemas in pre-school. Agghhh why do they give us free rein on the topic. I don't know what the total word count is but I know it has to be a tight focus question. Beth

Hi everyone, I havent posted for such along time as we have been so busy at Pre School. I have finally taken the plunge and enrolled for the Foundation Degree in Early Years through Worcester University, which has an outreach college in Taunton Somerset. I am excited to be learning again but also terrified of the level of work and organisation that i will need. I currently lead a Pre School, also a single mum of four and have three labradors...will I be able to cope?? Lots of reasurring vibes needed.

Just finished yet another assignment for the course E124. I'm drowning in paper, fed up with trying to show my knowledge in such a tiny word count and NO ONE has seen my dining room table for weeks!!!! Will attend another tutorial in Derby tomorrow and when I've cleared away all things OU I have to start writing reports for 10 leavers. Phew! Isn't it a busy time of year. Still, I will look forward to 2 weeks in France from the 10th July and a week in Dublin catching up with family. Boy will I need it!!!! Just thought - this should probably be in the Lounge.
