Hello, I have has my degree in early childhood since last year, and I'm really stuck as to what I can do with it. I have worked with children for 7 years before and after my degree, as senior and practitioner and I feel I have exhausted working in Childcare, I would like to still work with children but not directly In daycare. I am nearly at the end of my EYT (previously EYPS) and I would like some direction. I feel my degree(s) are wasted, may just give up and work in a call centre lol Please help!!

I have just printed off 2 copies of my independent study. I have had them both bound......... Now, unless I do not get a pass grade.................... I AM FINISHED. 5 years and 2 months after starting I have hopefully just completed my BA Honours degree! Got my EYPS too!! Not sure what I am feeling right now........ Might be relief............ Whatever it is, it feels good!!!

Hi So two weeks into college and really need to decide on dissertation question!! I have 3 areas that I am thinking of would just like your valuable opinions!! So 1: Does Social background have an impact in children's learning? I like this idea however when it comes to interviews/questionnaires I feel I may not get a great response especially from parents. 2: The impact of Parents own educational experience on their child's learning. Hi all, I have finally after much debating decided on my research proposal question. I have based it on the importance of adults engaging with children retelling stories using story sacks and props. Could anyone recommend any books/literature that might be useful? I have found lots already but I feel that you can never have enough references!!!! Hi - I have just started the BA (Hons) top up at Kingston Uni this week and wondered if anyone else was taking the plunge? I completed my Foundation Degree in March this year and excited (although apprehensive) in starting the first module QF6010 'Leading Through Transition'. Hi all, I'm thinking about taking the plunge and getting back into studying. Just wondered if anyone has done/is doing this course and what their thoughts were on it. I'm slightly concerned about the workload and seeing as I spend a good chunk of my own time doing nursery planning etc (do not get me started on that subject!!) I'm wondering how I'll fit this in!

Finally, have finished my degree and I received my results today........................I have a BA (Hons) grade of 2.1, which has chuffed me to little bits. Just wanted to thank everyone who has helped me in any way along the way......I truly couldn't have done it without so many friends! It has been a long, long road, but I got there.So, to anyone struggling with it.......it IS worth it, keep going! Now, onto the EYP and hopefully christmas sees me a free woman again! ( And YES, I'll be picking brains for help with it LOL)
