A time audit for my Foundation Degree Early Years course, I lost all my orginal ones and it wasn't brilliant so I made my own. You can use and adapt it to your own personal needs. Its a good way to find out where your time goes. Erm mine goes on tooo much relaxing and not working enough! Oh and finding a job in childcare. Beth Time_audit.doc

result for semester 1. It has to be second marked by college themself i.e. not the tutors. Developing Child 1: Assginment grade C Not bad could have worked harder if we had more time to do it. Exam grade D Not bad considering I lost 40 mins due to a 'dead' hand. Core Skills for Foundation Degree: Porfolio work grade C I was expecting a D so that was good for me. So now I got 30 credits to my name! Beth

Havard Referencing

I wonder if you could help me. I am currently in the process of writing my Play assessment and I have taken a quote from the Birth to Three Matters book, included within the pack. I was wondering how I would refer to this in my bibliography using the Harvard Referencing system? With text books I am ok and know how to do it, but this book doesn't have publishers and dates on it so I'm not sure which is the right way to do it. Thanks in advance!

Hi All, Sos haven't been around for a while but have been juggling work, kids, 2 assignments and revising for 2 exams as well as aload of family issues. All was going well although hectic ubtil last Wednesday when we had our exams. 1 on Families and 1 on Psychology - early child development. Familes was ok but Psychology was horrendous. We have had problems with this module as our lecturer left within the first few weeks having taught us nothing. Another couple of weeks went by with no lecturer, when one of our other lecturers offered to take over. We were running out of time but she intensivley taught us what we needed to know for our assignment and we thought our ex…

Can I Pick Your Brains....

Hi One of my assignments is on behaviour, 1500 to 2000 words. We have to select an inappropriate behaviour in the setting we would like to analyse. My first thought was a little boy who 'head bangs' through frustration. We have to analyse the ways in which the behaviour could have been learnt/reinforced and influences on this behaviour, which i think i am ok with... and also explore strategies to modify this unwanted behaviour, which we do at work anyway.... but we also have to show clear links to theory... i have read lots on theorists etc but none are jumping at me regarding 'head banging' any thoughts, suggestions would be great and i look fo…

How Do You Fit It All In?
by Guest- 10 replies

As you can probably tell from the title, I am wondering how all of you who are studying the FD or have studied something like it manage to fit it all in with the everyday stuff, such as full time work, children, housework etc? I've been feeling really negative about my course since we returned after Christmas. The whole of that holiday was taken up with studying and now we've been back 3 weeks and the work is piling up again. I feel terrible that I don't get to spend too much time with Natalie and Simon but I really want to do well at this too. I am really struggling to juggle it all and I can't seem to find a way to sort it out. As it is I'm up at 5:30 every morn…
