When you add a reflection, you are given the option to mark it as 'Restricted'. This makes your reflection visible only to managers on Tapestry or to any member of staff you choose to share it with. If you haven't yet been set up on Tapestry Billing, you'll have to create a trial account. Please visit https://billing.tapestry.info and choose 'Get a Trial' (1). You'll be asked to confirm whether you are a new customer. You can add funds to your billing account at any time, even if you don't have any packages awaiting payment. First, you'll need to sign in! You can access your billing account when logged in to Tapestry if you are a manager on the account by clicking on your name (1) and then selecting 'Subscription & Billing' (2). Tapestry offers a choice of pre-set tags for labelling and grouping your reflections or observations. There are tags for the various frameworks and more general tags for play characteristics, learning environment or staff and management. When you make a reflection or observation you can link the tags and they provide a way of organising your reflections so you can see common themes or collect evidence for a visit or inspection. If you have ordered a new Tapestry account or have a pending renewal for an existing account, there are three ways to settle your tax invoice. You can make a card payment yourself when logged in to your Tapestry billing account. You can send the tax invoice to someone else, who can then click the link and make payment for the account without needing any log in details. You can do this if you are logged in to your Tapestry account already by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner and selecting 'Subscription & Billing'. In this tutorial we'll talk through how you can convert your trial into a full Tapestry subscription. This will allow you to keep all the data you gathered during your trial. You can use the tags to gather evidence for your quality improvement plan, for professional development or for staff appraisals.
