I recently went on a course entitled 'VISUAL ARTS INSPIRED BY REGGIO EMILIO'. It was simply amazing and I'd like to share a fantastic activity with you. With any luck I've successfully attached it to this post! If not let me know. Its a pentagon den which you can make on any scale using anything from art straws to 8ft bamboo canes (did this, wouldn't recommend it for a fist though!!) They are really easy to make once you get the gist of it and the opportunities are endless!! I dare you to make one!! Lucy x How_To_Make_A_Pentagon_Den.doc

Animal Patterns

Next week we are having an Art and Craft morning when we invite parents to help us. We do this event once a term and we have a different theme each time. Thistime we are doing patterns. I have chosen to create animal patterns with the children, although now I'm looking at what I'm going to do and I'm really not sure!! Has anyone got any ideas?? It's happening next Wed although if I need anything important I need to order it from ESPO or County Supplies quickly. I've thought of doing zebra, giraffe, tiger, leopard and cheetah, but not sure how to approach it. Heeeellllpppp!!! Dawn
