AnonyMouse_379
Hi All A simple query I hope. :( I am looking to use the new Primary Framework for Mathematics from September onwards.... I am aware that it is broken down in to 7 strands and then into blocks to teach throughout the year..... My question is are there blocks of work for the foundation stage.... I have looked at the standards site and can find an access the blocks of work for years 1-6..... but only activity ideas for the foundation stage...... What am I missing.... or do we carry on as before covering the Stepping stones and ELGS? Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks Lorna
AnonyMouse_1208
You're right - no blocks of work for FS - continue with SS and ELGs. CGFS and soon EYFS are the only legal requirements for FS anyway.
Guest
Yep forget about it and carry on as per normal but now teach sequence of events (time) and ordinal numbers - that aren't included in CG. x
AnonyMouse_379
Thanks.... Thats what I thought but was told at school we had to use it....... We already do time and ordinal number.... so no change there then. L
