AnonyMouse_6361
I have been talking to someone I know today, I haven't seen her in ages so that was nice. She said she as got an interview the week after next but part of the interview process she is to have some key skills test (well thats a first on me). I wasn't sure but I think its likely to be a session working with the children. However she thinks its more to do with her numercy and literacy skills. This one a baffled me any ideas? This is in a nursery setting, not sure if its a day nursery or children's centre. Beth Edited August 24, 2007 by beth1
AnonyMouse_4544
Beth if it is the same as my friend took it is mainly maths and literacy and some ICT The key skills are: Application of number Communication Improving own learning and performance Information and communication technology Problem solving Working with others. Employers can ask candidates to complete a test to see they meet standards. She took the test on line but there is a paper option depending on where you sit the test. On line is almost immediate feedback where paper based has a few days wait.
